Delegate access: Levels of permission

When you invite another person or Dynamics Tech customer support sends a request to access your account as a delegate, you are required to select one of the following access levels: The access level determines what a delegate can do to your account.


Access LevelDescription


Products, Domains, & Purchase


Delegates can:


  • Make purchases on your behalf using your stored payment method.
  • Access your products (including product control panels) and cancel new products.

For domains, you can permit management actions, transfer actions or both. Learn how to assign delegate folder permissions.


Products & Domains

Delegates can:

Domains Only

Delegates can:

  • Permit management action, transfer action or both.

Accounts Connection Only

Delegates can:

  • Access your account at a future time, but cannot currently access or purchase products.

Select this level of access to keep a delegate connected to your account for future work.




Regardless of the level of access you grant, your delegates cannot:


  • Manage or add payment methods to your account.
  • Invite others to access your account.
  • View or change your account credentials (like your password or Support PIN).
  • View your order history.
  • Upgrade products (only new purchases and renewals are supported).
  • Create and edit social media posts.
